Silence , with English intertitles. 2017 restoration by the Cinémathèque française and the San Francisco Silent Film Festival, based on the only known surviving copy, an intact six-reel 35 mm nitrate print exported to France and preserved at the Cinémathèque française. It is believed to be an abridged version of the original film. Colors are based on the tinting and toning of the nitrate print.
