The Half-Breed (1916).webm

The Half-Breed , with English intertitles. This 2013 restoration was made by La Cinémathèque française and the San Francisco Silent Film Festival. The restoration is primarily based on a five-reel Pathé 35 mm diacetate print of the 1924 re-release held by La Cinémathèque française. The intertitles and a few shots are taken from a 35 mm nitrate print of the original version, recovered in the Dawson Film Find and held by the U.S. Library of Congress. A few shots not found in the 35 mm prints come from a 16 mm diacetate print held by Lobster Films.
