Ìṣẹ̀ṣe literally means the propagation of the ‘’Yoruba faiths’’, beliefs, and celebration of the Yoruba gods and deities. This practice has been in existence predominantly within the Yoruba people of southwest Nigeria for thousands of years yet unknown. In recent times, this practice has expanded and extended within and outside neighboring African countries like North America, China etc. This audiovisual was recorded in Iseyin, a town in Oyo State of Nigeria on the 11th of November 2023. The video features Chief Olaide Ifadare, who is an Iṣẹṣe devotee in Iseyin, Oyo State. The video was directed and produced for the Yoruba Wikimedians User Group by Tunde Oladimeji, a notable documentary film maker in Nigeria.
