Paths to Palestine Produced: 1930 Description This film shows the fleet visit to Palestine during a Mediterranean cruise. There are views of old and new buildings, a marketplace, people in native dress, and camels and donkeys. U.S. sailors are seen as they visited marketplaces and out of the way shops. Other views include an old man shown as he poured wine out of a bag; a man with many chairs on his back; camels loaded with supplies; a Moslem shrine (original site of King Solomon's Temple); the Church of the Nativity; a man as he made a bucket out of metal; the River Jordan; small children with water jugs on their heads; and people in Nazareth as they used old wooden tools. https://catalog.archives.gov/id/2767364
