The Five Senses of Man (Prefatýn and His Love)

ZRAK: Sluha Prefatýn spatří na ulici kuchařku. Doprovodí ji na trh a pomůže jí s nákupem až před dům. Příštího dne se dostaví s kyticí a je pozván do bytu. ČICH: V kuchyni předá květiny a posadí se ke stolu. CHUŤ: Spořádá oběd a zapije ho pivem. HMAT: Posadí se na pohovku a políbí kuchařku. SLUCH: Zatáhne se opona a před ní začne tančit Amorek naslouchající zvukům. V závěru civilní snímek Josefa Švába-Malostranského s Katy Kaclovou-Vališovou. The servant Prefatýn catches sight of a female cook on the street. He accompanies her to the market and helps her carry the groceries up to the front of her house. The next day he shows up with a bouquet of flowers and is invited into her apartment. SMELL: He gives her the flowers in the kitchen and sits down at the table. TASTE: He devours lunch and washes it down with beer. TOUCH: He sits on the sofa with the female cook and kisses her. HEARING: Dark curtains are drawn and cupid dances around in front of them while listening to the sounds on the other side. The film ends with a shot of the actors Josef Šváb-Malostranský and Katy Kaclová-Vališová as themselves.
