Yeyemoolu was the first olori (queen) to the first Ooni of Ife, Olofin Oonirisa. Her story is one of selfless support and cultural legacy; after dying, she transformed into a sacred well within the palace, becoming a continuous source of spiritual and cultural strength for all subsequent Oonis and the community. The story was narrated during the Yoruba Wikimedians User Group Storytelling Event in Lagos State, Nigeria, with staged audio recorded by Ademola Ayomide who is the storyteller. This audiovisual was recorded in Onikan Lagos,, a city in Lagos State of Nigeria on the 22nd of April 2025. The video features Ademola Ayomide, who is a storyteller, actress and writer. The video was directed and produced for the Yoruba Wikimedians User Group by Tunde Oladimeji, a notable documentary film maker in Nigeria.
