Washington, D.C.'s Immigration Film Festival.webm

The Greater Washington Immigration Film Festival puts the stories and struggles of refugees, those coming to Europe and America, under the spotlight. This year’s festival features short films by American students like “Refugee”, “Limbo” and “Do Not Come to Europe,” which document the experiences of Africans who have had to flee their homes and make a new life in the west. VOA’s Guest Host Hayde Adams FitzPatrick sat down with one of the organizers, Mary Harris.
