Ise gbena-gbena known as wood carving is one of the oldest vocations of the Yoruba people. They carve essential objects such as wooden for hoe, cutlass, pestle and mortar, etc. This audiovisual was recorded in Iseyin, a town in Oyo State of Nigeria on the 20th of July 2022. The video features Abioye Gabriel, a local gbena-gbena. The video was directed and produced for the Yoruba Wikimedians User Group by Tunde Oladimeji, a notable documentary film maker in Nigeria.
