Review conditions
This resource reel shows major milestones for NASA’s mega Moon rocket, the SLS (Space Launch System), from March 2026 through August 2026. Teams across the country are manufacturing, building, and preparing hardware for SLS rockets that power the Artemis missions. Video highlights include the rollout of the rocket in preparation for the Artemis II launch, along with launch-day footage captured April 2, 2026, at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Additional highlights showcase the movement of key Artemis III hardware, including the rollout of the upper four-fifths of the SLS core stage from NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, booster segments moving by train from Utah to Florida, and the Orion stage adapter and spacer from NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The video also features footage of Artemis hardware undergoing processing at Kennedy.
