Around the Moon for All Humanity: Artemis II (Official Launch Trailer)

Artemis II will launch four astronauts on a mission around the Moon no earlier than April 1, 2026. The approximately ten-day mission begins with a launch on the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket from NASA's Kennedy Space Center, embarks on a lunar flyby, and ends with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean. The purpose of the mission is to certify the life support systems aboard the Orion spacecraft for future Artemis missions and Moon landings. This mission represents the first time in over fifty years that humans will fly in the vicinity of the Moon. Credit: NASA/Ashlee Elizabeth Nichols
