Rivningen av Sandrews ateljéer på Gärdet i Stockholm i februari 1962 dokumenteras. Ateljéerna låg i en före detta tennishall byggd på ett område som under Stockholmsutställningen 1930 användes för uppvisning av kreatur (i folkmun "Kostadion") och därefter för idrottstävlingar. Centrumateljéerna hyrde tennishallen och inledde filminspelningsverksamhet där 1940, och Sandrews tog över kontraktet 1948. Mellan 1948 och 1960 spelades ca 140 filmer in här. The film documents the demolition of the Sandrews studios on the Gärdet plain in Stockholm, February 1962. The studios were in an old tennis hall built in an area used to display livestock at the Stockholm Expo of 1930 (known popularly as the ‘Cow Studio’) and later for sports tournaments. The Centrum studios rented the tennis hall and started making films there in 1940, and Sandrews took over the contract in 1948. Around 140 films were made here between 1948 and 1960.
