Před novostavbou sokolovny byly předneseny slavnostní projevy (předseda stavebního odboru František Netík, zástupce ČOS Fon, starosta Josef Vaněk, župní jednatel Doležal a starosta Čížek). Členové sokolské jednoty pak vstoupili do budovy. Na hřišti proběhlo první cvičení. A view of the newly constructed Sokol hall in Dobruška. The foundation stone was laid on 20th June 1926. We can see people working dilligently until the last moment before the ceremony opening of the Sokol hall (cleaning the area, landscaping). Members of the Construction Department headed by Architect Ladislav Machoň have a tour of the building before its ceremony opening. On the eve of the D-day the music ensemble "Kocourkovští učitelé" performed a cabaret scene "Lásek hra náhodná" (Love is all Around). A part of the celebration was a parade marching through the town from the square. The Sokol members were parting with the old Sokol building and removed the Sokol emblem from it. We can hear ceremony speeches delivered in front of the new building (the Chairman of the Construction Department František Netík, representative of the Czech Sokol Community (ČOS) Fon, the Mayor of the Town Josef Vaněk, the District Sokol Head Doležal and the Mayor Čížek). Then the members of the Sokol organization entered the building. First exercises were performed on the playground then.
