Agricultural Day of the Republican Party of The Agricultural and Small-Peasant People, held on 9 September 1928 in Brno for exhibitions of contemporary culture

Dne 9. září 1928 uspořádala Republikánská strana zemědělského a malorolnického lidu v Brně Zemědělský den. Jednalo se o doprovodnou akci Výstavy soudobé kultury. Účastníci se shromáždili před železničním nádražím. Položili věnec k pomníku přírodovědce Johana Gregora Mendela. Na Špilberku uctili památku vůdce vzbouřených slezských poddaných Ondry Foltýna. Vzpomněli i na předsedu Republikánské strany Antonína Švehlu. Cílem průvodu bylo Výstaviště. On 9th September 1928 the Republican Party of Agricultural Peopleo and Small Farmers (Republikánská strana zemědělského a malorolnického lidu) organized the Agricultural Day in the town of Brno. It was meant to be an accompanying event to the Exhibition of Contemporary Culture. The event participants gathered in front of the railway station. They laid down a wreath at the Memorial of natural scientist Johan Gregor Mendel. On the Špilberk Hill they worshipped the memory of the leader of revolting Silesian serfs, Ondra Foltýn. They also commemorated the Chairman of the Republican Party, Antonín Švehla. The parade's place of destination was Výstaviště (the Exhibition Grounds).
