Jak Vašíček přišel k nohám - picture 1

Chlapec po zakopnutí leží na kolejích, blíží se k němu vlak. While a group of children is playing by the railroad station, a tragic accident occurs during which Vašíček's legs are crushed by a train. After a complicated operation Vašíček is moved to Jedlička's Institute where, thanks to the teachers, wardens and the friendship of the other children, Vašíček gradually comes to terms with his handicap. He learns a trade and after a few years, he leaves the Institute to learn to live a normal life once more.
